About Huey Wei
My name is Kho Huey Wei and I just finished A-Level in November 2020. I scored 9A+ and 1A in SPM and am currently holding a JPA scholarship. I have some experience teaching my friends science subjects and maths since secondary school, also I volunteered myself to teach children some English and maths in the collaborative effort of Sunway Student Volunteer club and Chin Student Organisation. I believe a holistic approach on education is the key to help students be the most that they can be. My goals are not to just boost students’ grades but also to help in their personal development. I would make my teaching personalized to a child’s skills and feelings. Lessons will be conducted in a safe, supportive environment that allows students to utilize their individual strengths. Different strategies such as inquiry-based learning and meta-learning are employed to target each child to ensure that they are acquiring new knowledge and skills.
